Places We Protect

Coming soon! We've started planning for next year's round of Conservation Options workshops aimed at identifying ways Delaware landowners can conserve  habitat on their property while still owning, and even profiting from, their land.

See what the Conservancy is doing to protect the First State’s coastal, marine and estuarine land and sea-scapes.

Faces of Conservation

John Graham
Troubled by the invasion of non-native plants at many of Delaware’s protected areas, John Graham didn’t just volunteer. He went back to school and changed his career. Now he’s restoring some of Delaware’s most treasured landscapes, one acre at a time.

News Room

Thanks to a pledge by the Sussex County Council, The Nature Conservancy has raised more than half of the $125,000 borrowed to purchase 25 acres of farmland and forest adjacent to the Middleford North Preserve. Contact the Conservancy at (302) 654-4707 to help us pay off this loan.

Ways of Giving

The Delaware chapter benefits from all types of giving – including donations through the United Way of Delaware (#9108), monthly contributions, and annual memberships. Support the Conservancy with a way of giving that work best for you.
