It’s that time of year again. In celebration of ten years of business in Boulder, The Mountain Sun Pub & Brewery will once again be hosting its annual hoe-down at the beautiful Boulder Theater to say thanks to the local community for all of their support. For the second year in a row The Hackensaw Boys will rock the house with their original mix of old-time bluegrass, string band music. Having played Telluride Bluegrass Festival in 2003, The Boys are creating a strong buzz in Colorado and around the country with their consistently stunning live performances as they redefine acoustic music. Kicking off the event will be groove grassers Shanti Groove acoustic billing themselves as Young and In the Gutter.
For the sixth year in a row, the show will benefit The Nature Conservancy, Colorado Chapter. In addition to donating a portion of each ticket sold to the Conservancy, the Mountain Sun will hold a silent auction featuring a wide array of goods from some of downtown Boulder's finest businesses. Food, books, art, music will be up for grabs and it's all for a great cause. Last year the event raised over $12,000.
In addition to the great music and the great cause, the Mountain Sun Pub & Brewery will feature two flavors of their tasty beer, Colorado Kind Ale and Java Porter, for only $2 per pint all night long.
Please call for additional promotional materials and artist interviews.
