The Homestead at Hart Prairie Preserve
The lodge and cabins on the preserve, some on the National Register of Historic Places, house a catering kitchen, conference/dining room, fully equipped office, and rustic but comfortable lodging facilities. One-day or two-night minimum overnight stays are available for land management, conservation or related educational groups conducting retreats, conferences or workshops. Meeting/Retreat FacilitiesHart Prairie allows your group to escape every day distractions while enjoying the conveniences you need for a productive meeting. Through solar power, we offer high-speed wireless internet access at the Mariposa Lodge and porch; phone, fax, and copier, as well as audio-visual equipment. Education is an important part of The Nature Conservancy’s mission. Therefore, a Conservancy representative will be available to take your group on a nature walk, highlighting the ecology of the region and the Conservancy’s work at Hart Prairie, the San Francisco Peaks, and beyond. This walk or an alternative activity can be scheduled with your reservation. The facilities at the preserve are available for daytime or overnight use. Download a description of the facilities.
