Photographing the Natural World
Date: October 2-4, 2009 Location: The Nature Conservancy's Hart Prairie Preserve Overview: Inspired by nature’s palette of fall colors and natural light, photography aficionados can immerse themselves in a weekend workshop with one of the region’s finest landscape photographers. The setting: Hart Prairie at the foot of the San Francisco Peaks. This historic Arizona landmark is the perfect base camp for exploring the ever-changing light, colors and textures of wild places by camera. Instruction: Professional photographer Mark Skalny works with participants to help them enhance their perspective, artistic talent and techniques by pushing the boundaries of photography and digital art. This workshop is for all levels. Beginners will appreciate Mark’s easygoing style, and more advanced photographers will learn new techniques in a stunning setting. |
