Corporate Council on the Environment

In growing numbers, today's corporate leaders are contributing to biodiversity conservation by seeking new ways to meet current needs without compromising the quality of life for future generations. Corporations are confronting the challenge of reducing their individual environmental footprints, as well as exploring what can be achieved on a greater scale through partnerships with environmental nonprofit organizations.  Members of the Corporate Council on the Environment in Alaska are such corporate leaders. Council members share their financial and in-kind resources with the Conservancy, and look for innovative ways to work together to balance economic needs with ecological values.

Benefits

Upon becoming a member of the Council, members enjoy the following benefits:

  • Recognized in a salute ad that is printed in major publications across Alaska
  • Invited to participate in an annual fall reception, specifically for our corporate partners
  • Benefit from a network of industry leaders interested and engaged in Alaska conservation issues
