Exploring the Conservancy’s work along the Trail

Although the sweeping herds of bison and pronghorn no longer remain, there are places along Lewis and Clark’s trail where hauntingly beautiful lands can be seen. The Conservancy is working to protect what remains and restore some of what was lost.

Click on the trail to follow the Corps’ westward journey or on the dots to learn more about the Conservancy’s work. Each dot represents a preserve or project that lies within 100 miles of the trail.
