Gift Membership
Gift memberships are a fun and easy way to spread the word regarding the Conservancy’s work while continuing to help protect the diversity of life on Earth. Not only will recipients enjoy receiving this personalized gift, they will be welcomed into the Conservancy’s family of dedicated individuals committed to saving the last great places in Great Lakes and around the world.
Memorial and Honorary Gifts
To make your memorial or honorary donation, please contact the Great Lakes Philanthropy team at (517) 316-0300.
Gift and Estate Planning
A bequest to The Nature Conservancy will help protect vanishing wilderness and wildlife for future generations, and your commitment may help your estate save on federal estate taxes. Our Legacy Club honors those who have created a lasting legacy to the Conservancy by including us in their estate plans.
Give by Getting Involved
When you volunteer for the Conservancy, you not only help plant trees, remove invasives and maintain trails — you are making the world a better place for now and for future generations. Now that’s something to feel good about.
Lighting a Candle for Those Remembered
The Legacy Candle:
Many members of The Nature Conservancy and lovers of nature chose to give a donation through their will, retirement plan, retained life estate, and many other conservation options. Learn more about how you can become a member of the Legacy Club. The Great Lakes staff light a Legacy Candle for individuals who have left the Conservancy a gift through their estate.
The Memorial Candle:
To make a memorial or honorary donation, please contact the Conservancy’s Customer Service Team at (800) 628-6860. The Great Lakes staff light a Memorial Candle for individuals who have asked that donations be sent to the Conservancy in lieu of flowers.
