Boreal ForestOverview |

At 1.4 billion acres, Canada’s Boreal Forest represents one of the world’s greatest conservation opportunities. Far from being just an impenetrable wilderness, this landscape is home to fascinating wildlife, ancient cultures and independent communities.
This section is designed to give you an in-depth look at the Conservancy's work in Canada’s Boreal Forest. Here, you can experience the stories behind our work through engaging feature articles and multimedia.
Voices of Change: Climate Change Planning in the Boreal
The First Nations of Canada’s North see the effects of climate change every day. Daniel T’seleie works as a climate change planner in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. He is working with local community elders, collecting dramatic stories about how they have experienced climate change in their lifetime. Meet Daniel and hear these stories yourself.
