Lessons Learned

Pilot projects serve as a testing ground for putting theory into practice and provide lessons on how to achieve conservation more effectively and at greater scale. The center documents these pilot efforts and shares their effectiveness and potential for increasing conservation in the world’s great river basins. This knowledge sharing takes place through publications, such as peer-reviewed journal articles, white papers and the Great Rivers Partnership e-news. It also happens through presentations at conferences and in web-based formats, and through partner networks, staff exchanges, workshops and trainings.
