Each project profile identifies some of the practical ways The Nature Conservancy is working to reduce or eliminate the threats faced by that habitat. In general, the strategies focus on the acquisition of interests in land and water, supporting public policies that are beneficial to protecting biodiversity, restoring lands and waters, and promoting compatible human uses. All our strategies are based on sound science and would be impossible to implement without the help of our many partner organizations and you.
