What is the Caribbean Challenge?
-
The The Nature Conservancy has pledged $20 million in cash and in-kind resources to support The Caribbean Challenge, an unprecedented commitment by Caribbean governments to support and manage new and existing national parks and protected areas throughout the region.
-
The overall goal of the Caribbean Challenge is ambitious — participating Caribbean governments will protect at least 20 percent of their marine and coastal habitats by 2020.
