The Conservancy has teamed up with an improbable cast of characters to protect the natural resources of the Arnavon Islands — home to one of the world’s most important rookeries for the endangered hawksbill turtle.

The Nature Conservancy collaborated with a range of community, government, and non-government partners to conduct a Rapid Ecological Assessment (REA) of the biodiversity and status of the marine ecosystems of the Solomon Islands.
