Places We Protect in the Federated States of Micronesia

Pohnpei, Pohnpei State, Federated States of Micronesia
Pohnpei, the largest island in the Federated States of Micronesia, has been the focus of The Nature Conservancy’s work in the country for the since 1990. Home to the largest intact upland rainforest in all of Micronesia, the island of Pohnpei is one of the greenest, wettest, and most beautiful places in the world.
