No big deal. It's just Entertainment Weekly talking about Raphael, Tha Boogie & All Hands Music. Check It Out

Pop/Alternative duo Tha Boogie fuses elements of rock, hip hop, R&B and funk to create a futuristic sound all their own.

Tuko Proby and Jarryd James met in high school and began creating original tunes of their own and set-up their first home studio, Ponderville. Soon, their music would catch the ear of Grammy Award winning artist/producer Raphael Saadiq, who signed them to his record label (Velma Records) in 2009 and invited them to join him on tour.

Proby and James have since toured both abroad and in the U.S. with artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Q-tip and Bilal. In April of 2012, they released Good Luck Charlie Vettuno, with its popular lead single, “Keepsake.”

Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, musician and producer Raphael Saadiq was named to the 2012 TIME 100, the magazine’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world.

A former member of 80's soul trio Tony! Toni! Toné!, he has released critically acclaimed solo Grammy-nominated albums Instant Vintage (2002), Ray Ray (2004), The Way I See It (2008), & Stone Rollin’ (2011), and worked behind the scenes as a producer, collaborator and sideman for Elton John, Mick Jagger, D'Angelo, John Legend, Joss Stone, The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest, Stevie Wonder, the Bee Gees, The Isley Brothers, Mary J. Blige, TLC, Whitney Houston, Snoop Dogg, Earth, Wind and Fire and more.

2011’s Stone Rollin’ was written and produced by Saadiq, who also plays bass, mellotron, keys, guitar, percussion and even drums on most of the tracks. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard R&B charts.

"I don't know where the title Stone Rollin' came from," says Saadiq. "It just came out of my mouth one day, but it just made sense with where I'm at right now. I feel like I'm stone rollin', like I'm ready to rock. I'm ready to go. Throw me anywhere and I'll make it happen."
