The Nature Conservancy is working in Australia on an innovative pilot project that will support Barrick’s corporate goal of no net loss of biodiversity for all projects and sites.
The Conservancy is assessing the biodiversity impacts of current mining operations in the Great Western Woodlands and designing an offsets strategy for mitigating these impacts using the Development by Design framework.
