This is Kansas' largest wind farm. This 150 MW wind farm came on-line in December 2005. A project of Elk River Wind Farm LLC of Larkspur, CA. HMH Energy Resources of Larkspur, Calif. and Greenlight Energy, Inc. of Charlottesville, Virginia co-developed the project and sold it to PPM Energy, Inc. of Portland, OR.
