Picnic for the Planet, Patagonia-style

This year the Conservancy celebrated Earth Day (April 22nd) with a worldwide “Picnic for the Planet” with the goal of raising awareness about how we use the Earth’s resources.

The staff from the Patagonia office joined colleagues and friends in 25 countries around the world, who reported more than 300 picnics altogether. Staff from the office in Bariloche, Argentina took time out from their grasslands conservation work to share meal and reflect on the greater meaning of their work on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi.

“We are all so passionate about our work,” says Sustainable Grazing Strategy Coordinator Natalie Dudinsky, “Sometimes it’s good to pause and think about the greater significance – and how we’re connected to one another all over the world.”
