They’ll Match Your Gift to the Northwoods!

Help protect Wisconsin’s Northwoods, and your gift can be matched.

Three donors who love Wisconsin’s Northwoods want to encourage others to join them in protecting this special part of our state. They’ve created the Ripples Matching Fund and will provide a 50 percent match to all gifts of $1,000 or more for conservation in northern Wisconsin.

We set a goal to raise $3 million by the end of 2013 for Wild Rivers Legacy Forest and other exciting conservation projects in northern Wisconsin, and we’re almost there—about $650,000 left to raise—thanks to Nature Conservancy supporters like Scott Souder and his mother Susanna, who are taking advantage of the match to protect the places they love.

“As a young man, I camped every year at Red Arrow Camp and went down almost every conceivable river in northern Wisconsin,” Souder said. “Those trips brought a sense of belonging with the Earth and nature and its unspoiled beauty, and I want to keep it that way. “

If you love the Northwoods, you can contact Gail Van Sluys at gvansluys@tnc.org or 608-316-6435 about making your gift today.
