The West Virginia Chapter of the Nature Conservancy is interested in recruiting high quality volunteers to support various aspects of our conservation work. The following preserves are in need of a preserve monitor which will include 3-4 site visits annually paying particular attention to invasive species of concern, rare plant and animal surveys, visitor use resources including trails and interpretive signs and brochures.

• Cranesville Swamp Preserve
• Eidolon Preserve
• Greenland Gap Preserve
• Hungry Beech Preserve
• Ice Mountain Preserve
• Murphy Preserve
• Pike Knob Preserve
• Slaty Mountain Preserve
• Upper Shavers Fork Preserve
• Yankauer Preserve
We are also looking for Volunteer Preserve Stewards at Ice Mountain and Pike Knob Preserves.
