Spring and Fall, 2013
The Nature Conservancy’s Yankauer Nature Preserve
Directions
Conducted by the Potomac Valley Audubon Society, this fun program is aimed at pre-school children ages 3-5. It is designed to provide opportunities for small children and loving adults to explore nature together safely under the guidance of an experienced PVAS instructor. Children must be accompanied by a parent, grandparent or other adult relative or guardian.
Program sessions are offered at The Nature Conservancy’s Yankauer Nature Preserve in the spring and fall. Each session will last from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and each month's sessions will explore a different nature theme.
Programs are conducted rain or shine and include activities in an open-air pavilion and nature walks on the trails. Everyone should wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.
