Tired of cold air and gray skies? Well, you’ve come to the right place! Treat yourself to the vivid imagery of Robert Rotella for a much-needed infusion of warmth, color and inspiration. View the slideshow.
Robert, as both an individual and through The Robert P. Rotella Foundation, has been an avid and long-time supporter of The Nature Conservancy. He’s contributed to many of the Conservancy's conservation programs including Washington, Indonesia, Southern Andes and Hawaii. His interests in the sciences and art coupled with a reverence for the natural world are expressed in both his landscape as well as the macro photography featured here. These images remind the viewer that even some of nature’s most popular creations – flowers! - have hidden secrets to reveal—the weight of dewdrops, the texture of pollen, and the complexity of a single petal.
Robert opened Natural Wonders Gallery in Las Vegas about a year ago, which also features the work of photographers Art Wolfe and Robert Park. All three artists seek to aid the conservation efforts of many organizations by capturing nature’s uniqueness, intrigue and beauty in their photographs. Robert is based in the Pacific Northwest.
Our work to protect and restore lands and waters across Washington makes it possible for photographers like Robert, and you at home, to capture brilliant images of our planet, through the camera lens and with your own eye. Donate now to protect Washington.
