We're working with you to make a positive impact around the world in more than 35 countries, all 50 United States and your backyard. Support our work
Are you a secret admirer of The Nature Conservancy? Many of our supporters have named us in their estate plans, but haven’t had the opportunity to tell us. We recently received an extraordinary gift from lifelong hiker and nature lover, Sylvia Peckham, of Seattle. Sylvia was part of a group of friends who hiked together regularly in Washington and beyond. Her love of nature shined throughout her life.
Sylvia did a lot of hiking, and especially loved the mountains, rivers and forests of the Olympic Peninsula. A portion of her gift will support conservation and restoration work on the Washington coast and the majority will fund our Washington Stewardship Endowment designed to support our priority projects across the state. Sylvia viewed The Nature Conservancy as the best organization to preserve the lands she loved.
The Legacy Club is a special group of supporters who have made a lasting commitment to conservation by making a life-income gift with The Nature Conservancy or by naming us in their estate plans. We recognize and celebrate the profound contribution these special supporters have made to the future of our planet.
By sharing your intentions, we can discuss your specific requests and you can also receive special event invites and opportunities to meet staff and scientists. Call Melissa Laird or Deb Crespin right here in Washington at (206) 343-4345 to learn more about planned giving and the impact you can make.
There are many ways to support the protection of nature throughout Washington and beyond. Donate now or subscribe to our free Great Places Newsletter. Thank you for your support!
