Washington's Next Generation

Who We Are

Get to know this active community of young conservationists.

Washington’s Next Generation is the fresh, new face of conservation. And it looks pretty good if you ask us.

In the face of issues as global as climate change and as local as restoring Puget Sound, Next Gen is a group of Seattle conservationists in our 40s and younger who are injecting a hopeful energy into efforts to protect nature and preserve life.

As part of The Nature Conservancy, we put on an exciting array of events for our peers to learn, discuss and connect for nature. Help Next Gen give that youthful glow to local conservation with a global impact.

Get in on the action and help grow our voice and influence, so we can shape the future we face. Together we can :

Back in the fall of 2009, a half dozen Seattle-area young professionals came together to form a new Nature Conservancy group with an ambitious goal: leaving a more sustainable world for future generations, starting with our own.

Go ahead, get inspired for nature -- and not just in an ironic way.
Join Next Gen today!  (Don’t worry, we’ll wait while you do it.)
