Partnering with Hunters for Conservation

Working together, we are protecting and restoring beautiful places.

Established in 2007, the Conservancy's hunter stewardship program offers conservation-concerned hunters a chance to give back to the sagelands they cherish. Working together, we are protecting and restoring beautiful places that inspire many hunters to return year after year.

By participating in two volunteer projects, hunters gain permission to hunt mule deer on specific Conservancy preserves. Through this partnership we have connected with hunters who take great pride in giving back to the lands they hunt.

New hunters are required to attend an orientation, as it outlines the guidelines of the program and the conservation goals for our eastern Washington preserves.
