Spotted Bat Survey (Continued)

July 26, 2014

Moses Coulee Preserve

Directions

This has traditionally been a popular activity for us and is a great activity for the whole family. After a brief tutorial, participants will split up and sit, or stand quietly in the dark, usually in groups of three, for a one hour period. Two people in each group will listen for the spotted bat echolocations and call them out to the third person who acts as the recorder. Participants then reassemble and share what they experienced.
