Brownsville Preserve, Nassawadox, VA

Directions

We are in need of 3-4 volunteers to work with our stewardship staff performing general upkeep at Brownsville Preserve, the historic farm managed by the Conservancy to enhance bird habitat and serve as office headquarters for the Virginia Coast Reserve program.

Workdays are scheduled for the following Wednesday’s:

  • Sept. 24
  • Nov. 19
  • Dec. 17

3-4 volunteers will be needed each day.  Projects will include cutting back overgrown trees and vegetation along roads and trails, brush removal and clean-up, and other general, outdoor, get-your-hands-dirty projects as needed.

Details of each workday will be sent in a confirmation email to those who sign up. For more information and to sign up contact Jen Dalke, volunteer program manager at jdalke@tnc.org or 434-951-0572 (w) or 540-335-1302 (c).
