Saturday, September 6th: Fall Work Day at Whitney Preserve( previously scheduled for September 13th, but rescheduled due to time conflict)

8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Join us for all or part of the day as we help enhance the beauty of Whitney Preserve and prepare Bev’s Bunkhouse for the fall through various work projects such as prepping for tree planting, trail building and maintenance, improvements to Bev’s Bunkhouse, brush piling, weed management, and more.
8:30 a.m.: Coffee and donuts are on as we meet at Bev’s Bunkhouse on the Preserve. (Follow the signs from Cascade Road.)
9:00 a.m.: Groups will break off for specialized work projects
12:30 p.m.: Lunch break and a program update on the work TNC is doing in Western Dakotas.
1:30 p.m.: Enjoy an afternoon hike leaving from Bev’s Bunkhouse as we explore the Preserve!
What to bring:
Bring your lunch, water, binoculars, field guides, waterproof boots, and a jacket. Work volunteers should also bring gloves and any tools for adopted special projects.
