Who Are We?

The PA Young Professionals are a cross-section of Pennsylvania’s brightest men and women who share a love of nature, a concern for the environment and a belief that hope and action are indispensable to make a difference.

By hosting events throughout the year, we provide opportunities for the next generation of Pennsylvanians to learn more about the Nature Conservancy and its partners, meet other like-minded individuals, and find ways to contribute to local, regional, and global conservation efforts. 

Right now, we're hoping to grow our ranks with both new members and candidates for our steering committee. If you're between the ages of 21-45, then join us in exploring nature and philanthropy. As current PA Young Professionals members, we enjoy lots of benefits, including networking and volunteering opportunities, connecting with other young conservationists and putting a stake in the protection of our natural world.

We host events throughout the year where you can meet and network with fellow young conservationists, learn more about the work of TNC and our partners, and better understand the most pressing environmental challenges facing Pennsylvania today.  Membership is $100 and directly supports Nature Conservancy projects in Pennsylvania.

Why join? When you join PA Young Professionals, you will:

• Tour Conservancy properties, participate in projects, and embark on special field trips such as hiking at the State Line Serpentine Barrens, picking blueberries at Moosic Mountain, or spotting wildlife at Elk Timberlands.
• Support effective, science-based conservation projects throughout the state of Pennsylvania.
• Have the opportunity to join the PA Young Professionals steering committee, where you can help plan fun events and gain nonprofit leadership experience.
