Mount Tabor Park Volunteer Event

What exactly are we doing?
We will work on the east side of the Park to remove invasive species and perform follow up maintenance on native plantings.

After the work party, volunteers are invited to stick around for a celebratory event with free lunch from the Koi Fusion food truck, Salt & Straw ice cream and local musicians!

Please bring:

  • Water
  • Weather appropriate clothing
  • Sturdy shoes
  • Work gloves if you have them – otherwise you can borrow ours.

Other important notes:

  • We require parent/guardian permission for all minors. Please contact our Volunteer Programs staff at or 503 802-8100 at least two days prior to the work party if you or someone accompanying you is under 18 years old. If we do not hear from you prior to the work party, you may not be able to participate.
