We're working with you to make a positive impact around the world in more than 35 countries, all 50 United States and your backyard. Support our work
Registered for a project and realize that you can't make it? Please call the volunteer Crew Chief or Project Leader to cancel before the morning of the project. Please remember not only are we counting on you, but we are also concerned about you. We want to be able to hike from the meeting location to the work site with confidence that we are not leaving anyone behind.
Predicting our project needs and weather conditions months in advance is tricky business. While we never intend to "bait and switch" on work days, sometimes we have to change our project plans with little advance notice. Due to the vagaries of weather, we may do a different task than the one listed on the schedule.
We will not work in blizzards, thunderstorms, or tornadoes. However, progress typically continues through sprinkles, showers and light snow. If you would like to check on the status of a project, please call the volunteer Crew Chief or Project Leader. Our website will not show the status of the project.
While cancellations are rare, sometimes they are necessary. Unfortunately, cancellations can happen with little advance notice. Please make sure you have provided us with a phone number at which you can be reached the night before and the morning of the project.
If you are on our registration list for a project, you will be contacted by e-mail and/or telephone if the project is canceled. If you are uncertain of the status of a project, please call the volunteer Crew Chief or Project Leader. Our website will not show the status of a project.
