North Carolina

Chapter Staff Directory

Katherine D. Skinner

Executive Director

In 30-plus years, we have protected 700,000 acres of land in North Carolina. The staff of our chapter can be found working all across the state. Most are located at the chapter office in Durham. Five regional offices also carry out the Conservancy's mission and work with local communities. They are:

  • Nags Head Woods Ecological Preserve (Kill Devil Hills)
  • Roanoke River (Halifax)
  • Southeast Coastal Plain, often abbreviated as SECP (Wilmington)
  • Sandhills (Southern Pines)
  • Mountains (Asheville)

Katherine D. Skinner (pictured) is executive director of The North Carolina Chapter of The Nature Conservancy.

Contact the North Carolina chapter's Director of Communications & Marketing, Debbie Crane, at dcrane@tnc.org if you have questions.

The main number for our office is (919) 403-8558. Each employee in the Durham office also has a direct number, listed below.
