Announcing "How Can Birds Save the World" Event

Join The Nature Conservancy at a special event

Syracuse, NY | October 18, 2012

The Nature Conservancy invites you to join Dr. John Fitzpatrick, Director of the Cornell Lab or Ornithology, on Thursday, October 25th at 7:00 PM at Bellevue Country Club, 1901 Glenwood Avenue, Syracuse, for an illustrated lecture on “How Birds Can Save the World”.

Dr. Fitzpatrick’s illustrated lecture will examine the vital role birds play in the conservation of biological diversity, and in international diplomacy. Canaries in coal mines are just the beginning: birds are extremely sensitive indicators of environmental health and ecological change, and they rapidly self-correct when out of sync with their environments. Discover if humans do the same!
