Join us as we unveil our new bi-lingual audio tours at the Lisha Kill Natural Area. The ribbon-cutting ceremony (scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.) will include brief remarks from Rick Werwaiss, Executive Director of The Nature Conservancy’s Eastern New York Chapter and Joe Landry, Niskayuna Town Supervisor. Conservancy staff will discuss the health of New York’s forests and lead guests through a hike at the preserve.
Note: Using their mobile phones, visitors can scan the QR code posted on trail signage throughout the preserve to listen to the audio tours. In order to listen to the tour using your Smartphone (iPhone, Blackberry or Droid), you need to have QR Code reader on your phone. If you do not already have one, you can download a free reader. Please bring a water bottle and wear proper shoes for a hike.
