What are invasive plants? How did they get here? If they're here, why are they considered invasive? What threats do they pose to our ecological communities? What can YOU do to help?
Find out the answers at our Fall Weed Watcher Training with Andrew Smeltz. We'll begin the morning with coffee, bagels and a lively discussion about the ins and outs of invasive plants. We'll also review data collected from our ongoing volunteer efforts and explore the program's success to date. Learn how to identify the most common (and notorious) offenders and the best ways to remove them. Then head out into the Lubberland Creek Preserve to show those weeds who's boss!
R.S.V.P. is appreciated. Please email Andrew Smeltz (or call 603.659.2678, x10) to register!
