Environmental Education on the Carson River
The Whit Hall Interpretive Center at River Fork Ranch will be a learning center for local students and the community, showcasing how and why we should lessen our environmental footprint.
Getting kids back outside is more important than ever — for the sake of the kids and the future of our planet. Spending time outdoors at a young age is critical to fostering a healthy conservation ethic. That’s why the Conservancy is working all around the world to help create the next generation of conservationists.
At River Fork Ranch, the Conservancy is working to connect people with nature through hands-on learning opportunities that capture the imagination, engage the senses and demonstrate the balance that must be achieved between the needs of human and natural communities.
