Meet Evan Suhr!
The Conservancy has hired a new land management technician.
Evan Suhr is the Conservancy's new Land Management Technician, working at the Niobrara Valley Preserve.
Suhr gained experience at The Crane Trust as a habitat manager, and has a strong background with controlled burns. He received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Suhr's job will include general land management duties on the 56,000-acre Preserve, and learning about its natural history from its experienced staff. "The conservation goals of the Niobrara Valley Preserve are closely aligned with my personal and professional interests. I appreciate the biological diversity of north-central Nebraska and look forward to contributing to the habitat/land management of the Niobrara Valley in order to support The Nature Conservancy’s mission of conserving the lands and waters on which all life depends," said Suhr.about its natural history.
