Eastern Nebraska Program Director Chris Helzer has launched a new website called “The Prairie Ecologist”. It includes essays and discussion about prairie restoration, prairie management, and prairie natural history/photography.

“The blog is built to be an extension of my book on prairie management that came out earlier this year. My hope is that the blog serves as a way to update and expand on the ideas presented in the book, but more importantly, I hope it provides an opportunity for interactive discussion between all of us who are working to conserve grasslands,” explained Helzer.
