Gil Crain was a longtime Montana State University professor and volunteer at Yellowstone National Park. Taking into account his love and appreciation of nature and his many years as a supporter of The Nature Conservancy, his friends and family created a perpetual fund to immortalize his memory, by forever supporting the preservation of nature in Montana through funding of the Conservancy's work.
