Take advantage of a unique opportunity to provide critical support for The Nature Conservancy in Montana.
The newly enacted American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 temporarily extends the ability of individuals 70½ and older to donate up to $100,000 from their IRAs tax-free to The Nature Conservancy.
Because the legislation was passed so late in the year, charitable rollovers made in January 2013 may count for the 2012 distribution. Additionally, donors who received a distribution in December 2012 may transfer that money to a charity in January 2013.
Be sure to let your gift representative know if you would like your donation directed to conservation in Montana. Thank you.
