Montana's Annual Fund

A Powerful Engine of Conservation

Montana's Annual Fund is the powerful engine driving our work. Along with essentials such as salaries and keeping the lights on, the fund pays for most of the vital science and stewardship. Every acre of land or easement we purchase requires hours of staff time to complete and commits us to years of ongoing stewardship. Field staff log thousands of miles of travel a year. Our conservation requires good science, sturdy boots, reliable tires, and a lot of hardware!  Without the Annual Fund, our work could come to a grinding halt.
