- This treeless and rocky preserve harbors a unique array of species including several that are generally more commonly found in the desert Southwest, rather than a few miles from the banks of the Mississippi River.

- Glade Sandwort (Arenaria patula)
- Shooting Star (Dodecatheon meadia)
- Fremont's Leather Flower (Clematis fremontii)
- Flora found at Victoria Glade include more than 300 natural flowering plants, such as this native coreopsis.
- To prevent the spread of cedars onto the glade, the Conservancy routinely administers prescribed burns to control the growth of this invasive species.
