The Nature Conservancy is holding a series of events this spring, summer and fall across Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota to encourage our supporters to Get Out!

Overview: Go on a unique moonlight hike as we explore the very distinctive geologic features of Cascade Falls at The Nature Conservancy's Whitney Preserve.

Location: Meet at our Northern Tallgrass Prairie Ecoregion office at our Bluestem Prairie Preserve near Glyndon, Minnesota

Overview: Join us for a wonderful opportunity to see rare grassland birds such as the chestnut-collared longspur within Felton Prairie. Trip capacity is limited to nine people, first-come, first serve. RSVP via e-mail no later than May 24.

Overview: Conservancy volunteer David Astin will guide you through one of the best examples of a tallgrass prairie anywhere near the Twin Cities.
Location: Kiwanis Park on the Mississippi River, Brainerd, Minnesota

Overview: Bring your canoe or kayak and enjoy 7 miles of boating on the lazy river. Depart from Kiwanis Park in Brainerd and take out at Crow Wing State Park. The Nature Conservancy and Crow Wing State Park staff will serve as guides. Shuttle service will be provided.

Overview: Join Nature Conservancy staff as they guide you through Ordway Prairie. As you stroll through rolling hills, you will learn the art of nature photography and more about the Conservancy's work. RSVPs encouraged.
