The 1,734-acre Lake Alexander Preserve, located just west of Crow Wing County and the Brainerd Lakes area, is part of a mosaic of wetlands, hardwood forests, and stands of red and white pines and is one of the Conservancy’s great success stories in Minnesota. What to Wear/Bring: Comfortable shoes, hat, camera and binoculars. Watch the weather and dress appropriately. The event will happen rain or shine.

Location: Meet at the preserve office at 7163 Bear Road in Cushing, Minnesota.

How to Register: Please RSVP by August 15 to the Conservancy’s Todd Holman or by leaving a message at 612-867-3140.
