Brief Biography
Peggy is currently the director of finance for the Michigan Chapter and the Great Lakes Project. She has been with the Conservancy since 2000 and has held positions with the Illinois Chapter as well as the Conservancy’s Great Lakes Program. Peggy has a broad range of experience in financial management, accounting, and operations.
Prior to joining the Conservancy, she held several positions with Ameritech, (AT&T), including Treasury Manager and Bank Relations Supervisor. During her tenure at Ameritech, Peggy was a member of the senior management team that directed the Ameritech Foundation, which provided grants for education, health and community needs. Peggy also held various positions with Wayne Hummer & Co, a NYSE-member firm located in Chicago. While there, she played a key role in forming The Wayne Hummer Money Fund Trust, now a $1 billion plus management company- mutual fund complex.
Peggy has been a member of her local school board and is an active community volunteer.
