Today, Team Nature has signed up for the Marine Corps Marathon on October 28, 2012. We want to make “the people’s marathon,” as the Marine Corps event is often known, a marathon for people and nature. Learn more at www.nature.org/mcm.
Our running team will be raising funds to help protect and restore the Chesapeake Bay and other important natural habitats across our region and around the world. The 26.2-mile MCM course passes by some of our most treasured national monuments and is within easy driving distance of the Chesapeake Bay, Virginia Coast Reserve and Central Appalachians.
Space is limited, so sign up here today. You’ll soon receive a fundraising form, as well as a Marine Corps Marathon registration form. Both forms must be signed and returned by Friday August 3 to complete your registration.
Race day information, including bib pick-up instructions, will be handled by the Marine Corps Marathon staff.
No Federal or Marine Corps endorsement of advertisers or sponsors is implied.
