The Moose River Bow Trip and No. 5 Bog are accessible through a short drive from Jackman, Maine, a North Woods hub for forestry and outdoor recreation. About 12 miles south of the Canadian border on U.S. Route 201, Jackman is 72 miles north of Skowhegan, 135 miles north of Portland, and 229 miles north of Boston.
