Celebrate World Wetlands Day. Submit your photos of Kentucky's waterways today!

It's Photo Contest time again! This year, in honor of World Water Day, The Nature Conservancy of Kentucky is hosting a World Water Day photo contest. Dust off those cameras and seek out Kentucky's lakes, rivers, creeks and streams for scenic photos that capture the unique landscape that is Kentucky. Submission requirements are as follows:

photos must be hi-resolution
photos must depict a body of water located in Kentucky
photos may also include people or animals enjoying Kentucky's waterways
submissions must include a description of the photo, including the names of any individuals
submissions must include contact information of the photographer, including full name, address, phone and email

Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 photo submissions. Our grand prize includes a copy of TNC's Global Atlas of Conservation and a feature in one of our upcoming publications. Second and Third prizes include a TNC dog collar or leash and a TNC T-Shirt.

To qualify, photos should be submitted to kentucky@tnc.org by February 29, 2012. Any questions regarding contest rules can also be submitted to kentucky@tnc.org.
