Our actions along the Mississippi River in Kentucky can damage or benefit waters all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. The Nature Conservancy of Kentucky is doing its best to implement actions which highlight the latter.
The severe Mississippi River flooding which took place during the summer of 2011 serves as a good reminder of why we are working so hard to build a natural infrastructure of healthy habitat throughout the basin.
