Jordan Reeves has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from University of California San Diego and a master’s degree in International and Community Development from Clark University in Massachusetts. He worked for three years developing community-based marine conservation, eco-tourism and sustainable farming programs as Peace Corps Volunteer in Panama and spent eleven summers guiding wilderness whitewater rafting trips in California, Oregon and Idaho.
Though new to The Nature Conservancy, Jordan has long admired the organization’s strategic and collaborative approach to conservation. He is motivated by a desire to solve problems and promote balanced outcomes for conservation and community development, with equity and quality of life for all species as a central concern.
When he’s not working, Jordan enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, especially on long trips to places with no cell phone reception, participating in pretty much any activity that involves water.
