Places We Protect

From coral reefs to snow-capped summits, from stark landscapes of barren lava to lush mountain rain forests teeming with life, The Nature Conservancy safeguards the best of Hawaii's spectacular natural diversity.

Together with our partners, the Conservancy has protected almost 200,000 acres of natural lands in Hawai'i. These acres include 10 Conservancy preserves that provide vital habitat for threatened native species. We also collaborate with others to protect the larger natural systems of which our preserves are a part.
